Khalir Love / Vocals – MC

Khalir Love attributes his musical “feel” to eagerly watching live performances of music superstars at Philly’s famous “Uptown Theatre”. “There was a hole in the backdoor big enough for children to climb through and sneak in” fondly recalls Khalir. “We would spend the entire Saturday catching both the afternoon and evening show taking in the live performances of legendary artist”. A self taught percussionist Khalir has backed local musicians and notable artist including Philly recording artist Dee Dee Sharp, jazz artist Bobbi Humphries, Stanley Turrentine, and international performing artist Al Green.

As a singer and entertainer Khalir has performed from New York to San Diego at catered affairs whose guest list include celebrities, professional athletes, dignitaries, and political figures including Mayor John Street, President Bill Clinton as well as thousands of wedding and party guest throughout the Delaware Valley. Khalir never leaves home without his enthusiasm and passion for performing and he is excited about bringing his charismatic high energy performance to complement the great sound of Philly Horn Band.
